As final exhibition of the Curating Contemporary Art MA programme of Royal College of Art, London in 2014, we presented an international group exhibition exploring the indistinct spaces that lie between chatter and silence.

Taking its title from Samuel Beckett’s Not I (1972),… ‘all silent but for the buzzing …’ aimed to transport the distant whispering of Beckett’s play into the exhibition space. Viewers were invited to experience a variety of media, scales and spectra of sounds through artists’ installations, sculptures, collages and performances.
